The app uses your device's location exclusively to:

Calculate accurate prayer times for your geographic area
Determine the precise Qibla direction toward Mecca
Cache your location for faster app startup

Important: Your location data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers, third parties, or anyone else.

Data Storage

The following data is stored locally on your device only:

Your last known coordinates (for offline functionality)
Calculated prayer times (to avoid recalculation)
App preferences (notification settings, etc.)

This data never leaves your device and is automatically deleted if you uninstall the app.

Permissions

Location Services: Required to calculate prayer times and Qibla direction. Used only when the app is open.

Notifications: Optional. Used only to alert you of prayer times if you enable this feature.
